A Culture of Men Without Chests: C.S. Lewis's Warning for Today
Kenneth Samples
Today’s cultural climate seems characterized by a radical subjectivity. So much so that the transcendentals of truth, goodness, and beauty are viewed as being merely in the eye of the individual beholder. C. S. Lewis argued some eighty years ago that there is an objectivity of moral value and if we step outside of it we will cease to be human (resulting in The Abolition of Man). This presentation will explore how Lewis’s warning was prescient for the acceptance of this radical subjectivity has undermined common virtue and compromised human distinctiveness and dignity.

How Critical Theory Robs Us of the Imago Dei
Dr. Neil Shenvi
Critical Race Theory, Queer Theory, Feminist Theory, Intersectionality, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Our culture is awash in advocates who push these different aspects of critical theory in the name of “justice.” But what if critical theory itself undermines the very essence of why we believe all people are of equal and inestimable worth? Learn why equality must be grounded in the image of God.

Stop Making Monkeys of Men: The Case for the Historical Adam
Dr. Fazale Rana
Throughout most of the world, the prevailing view of human origins is steeped in the evolutionary paradigm. Yet, an increasing number of scientific studies from primatology, physical anthropology, and archeology challenge the standard evolutionary view. In other words, emerging scientific evidence exists for human uniqueness and exceptionalism. This presentation suggests a way to integrate these new scientific insights and the biblical accounts of human origins and, in doing so, demonstrate the scientific credibility of a biblical understanding of human nature and identity.

Battling the War Against the Family
Lenny Esposito
The assault against the traditional family seems to be increasing exponentially. Trans-activists are leveraging politicians to separate children from parents. Elementary schools push soft porn books in schools. And people are having fewer babies while tech promises to outsource pregnancy. Here is the Christian understanding of why the family is under fire, the hidden threats that lie ahead, and what we need to do about it.

Are We Losing Our Grip on Knowledge?
Dr. Douglas Geivett
We live and act in such a way as to assume truth is something real. Yet postmodernism denies that one can ever gain access to things like objective truth. But assuming this view also destroys any claim to knowledge and how we can grow and progress. Can we really know things? Is our desire to attach ourselves to certain political and philosophical positions creating an environment where we are eroding our very foundation of knowledge itself? Doug Geivett explains just what knowledge is and the grave implications we face by ignoring the objective grounding of facts.

Israel, Hamas, and Evangelizing Jewish People
Dr. Brian Crawford
The world was shocked with Hamas' brutal attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. Since then, old anti-Semitism has come back under new guises. How are we as Christians to process what is going on with Israel and Hamas? Dr. Brian Crawford will discuss the conflict from multiple biblical angles including covenants, morality, and even how cosmology factors into biblical support for the Jewish people. He will also address how to share the gospel with Jewish people in light of the ongoing war.

How Beauty Reveals God
Dr. Greg Ganssle
