Lewis argued some eighty years ago that there is an objectivity of moral value and if we step outside of it we will cease to be human (resulting in The Abolition of Man). This presentation will explore how Lewis’s warning was prescient for the acceptance of this radical subjectivity has undermined common virtue and compromised human distinctiveness and dignity.
